Private Parties

Rachel’s Bat Mitzvah

Saturday, March 21st, family and friends made their way to the Sheraton Great Valley Hotel. They were each greeted by their host, and guest of honor, Rachel as they were led to the Astoria Room to celebrate her Bat Mitzvah.

The ladies were excited and ready to party as soon as they saw the photo booth with props. Guests entered the room to find a beach themed party accented with alternating blue and aqua uplights. The upbeat music was drew everyone to the dance floor Kat Cruz, our dancing party motivator, taught everyone choreographed dance moves to the songs.

Once all of the guests had arrived it was time to introduce Rachel to her anticipating crowd of friends and family. The dance floor instantly filled when DJ Steve dropped the latest Pitbull while introducing Rachel. The ladies danced in celebration to welcome Rachel to her Mitzvah.

The energy level stayed high, even during dinner. The ladies sang along to songs, dedicating them to Rachel. A table of 8 ladies, each wielding their cell phones, spelled “M-A-Z-E-L-T-O-V” on their phones as a picture perfect opportunity to show their love and support for Rachel.

Following dinner we opened with a game followed by the Hora, where her friends cheered and snapped photos as Rachel was hoisted high in the air. The rest of the evening was filled with dancing to old favorites and lots of today’s hits. The night ended with a group photo of Rachel with all her friends celebrating a beautiful milestone in her life to the song Ed Sheeran’s ‘Don’t.’

Josh & Becca’s Bnai Mitzvah

The Stehle family exited the elevator of the Chester Valley Golf Club and stepped foot on the red carpet that led them past their photo booth into their transformed space, draped with purple and orange. Their eyes wide open and smiles beamed as they entered their beautiful B’Nai Mitzvah celebration. The honorees, Josh and Becca were greeted by our motivational dancers, Lindsay and Spencer, and quickly escorted to the dance floor where their friends awaited them to celebrate their coming of age to the rhythms of DJ Steve Vazquez. From start to finish Josh and Becca were surrounded by friends and family in celebration of their life milestone.  The dance floor was electric as the dancing heated up when Spencer led Josh and the guys in a dance battle against Lindsay and Becca and all of Becca’s ladies.

The night consisted of dancing to modern day pop music as well as old favorites for the parents to enjoy. In addition to the music the guests were engaged in group games. When the Hora was announced everyone gathered on the dance floor and circled around the Stehle family to show love and support for them as Becca, Josh and their younger brother Zach, were all hoisted high in the air as family and friends clapped and cheered in excitement.  Special thanks to our photographers Paul Evans and Louis Olivera for the great pictures below captured that evening.

Josh & Becca’s parents had this to say about Silver Sound: “Our party was absolutely perfect! Everyone involved absolutely exceeded our expectations! Thank you Steve, for your leadership and all that you did to make this an incredibly memorable night for all the kids.”

Sabrina’s Super Sweet 16

Sabrina's Super Sweet 16

Upon reference of the Phoenixiville Foundry, Silver Sound was contacted by event planner Tami Teaford Williams. Tami is typically a corporate planner but one of her corporate clients asked her to plan this event especially for their daughters Super Sweet Sixteen.

Realizing the scope of the event, the Director of Special Events scheduled a meeting at the Foundry with Tami, Sabrina and her mother Lisa. The meeting went exceptionally well. Everyone was into the “Nightclub Experience,” complete with the Multimedia Production. Paul pulled together an event staff of ten people to make the production happen directly under Silver Sound.  Additionally, Tami and Lisa brought in people to provide the draping, furniture and elements of the “Got Circus?” theme.

VJ Gaetano played dance music videos all night, including various remixes that Sabrina wanted. Bob Tomasso and Caroline Debottis of the Foundry were very supportive.  They even allowed Silver Sound to test a hazer two days prior, which allowed the light beams and laser to go airborne without setting of the alarms. Caroline stayed to the end, we got the show out in one hour and forty minutes.

From my perspective it all came together, special thanks to Lisa, Shaun and Tami for allowing me to bring my best production to the Phoenixville Foundry.  Sabrina had a fantastic Super Sweet Sixteen, I think all her friends will agree.

Jason’s Bar Mitzvah

Amongst several events Silver Sound specializes in, one of the more notable is Bar Mitzvahs.  This past weekend Steve Vazquez entertained for a young man named Jason at the City Line Hilton Hotel with the help of two lovely dancers, Kelly and Jessica, and master of ceremonies Josiah.  Steve Vazquez was crankin’ out the hits while Kelly and Jessica were getting the kids energized on the dancefloor.  Josiah was on the mic bringing his own energy while leading the kids to songs like Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller.’

Equally impressive to the talent there was the audio and light setup.  There was an array of different high-energy lights flashing on the ceiling and dancefloor, uplighting splashing color on the back wall and even lights illuminating beneath the skirts of the speakers turning the speakers into lights!

Jason’s mom wrote us stating, “It was a pleasure working with Steve, Kelly, Jessica and Josiah…we were thrilled and felt very lucky to have such an energetic, professional group running our party.” She also mentioned, “He(Steve) saved me by having a copy of Jason’s candle lighting notes, because at last minute I realized I had left my copy in the car…and this all happened moments before the candlelighting was to start! Its details like that that I appreciate, because I really didn’t have to do anything but dance and enjoy our celebration. Thank you so much!”

Nice save Steve!

Eliza’s Sweet 16

Eliza turned sixteen this month and it’s hard to imagine that her or any of her guests will ever forget the party thrown to celebrate it.  There were few, if any, moments that DJ Paul Evans did not have everyone on the dancefloor singing and dancing together throughout the evening.  Paul worked double hard as he doubled as a photographer for this event as well.  This tiki themed party was beautifully assembled by Penncora Productions at the Radnor Hunt Club where we had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside  Jean and her husband.  Mother of the birthday girl, Terry Moran, had nothing but glowing reviews about the island themed celebration.
